October 13

Colorado Reform Immigration for America: Youth Actions, October 13

On Tuesday, October 13th, thousands of families, faith leaders and Members of Congress in Washington, DC and throughout the country, will send the message that America needs comprehensive immigration reform now. Congressman Luis Gutierrez and his allies in Congress will be releasing a series of principles for progressive immigration reform legislation. Our families can’t wait; our country can’t wait. We expect Congress to act NOW to solve the crisis. It’s time for us to send a message to our Congressional leaders — Family UNITY Can’t Wait!

Over 175 youth from across the state came together last month in Fort Collins to learn organizing skills to move the Reform Immigration FOR America campaign in Colorado. They have taken the lead in organizing events throughout the state for October 13. Please join the event that’s closest to you and support the young people organizing them!
